John G. Calhoun Born in Delbarton, WV on Jul. 27, 1940 Departed on Mar. 26, 2008 and resided in Bellaire, OH. Visitation: Saturday, Mar. 29, 2008 & Sunday, Mar. 30, 2008 Service: Monday, Mar. 31, 2008 Cemetery: Holly Memorial Gardens John G. Calhoun, Sr. 67 of Bellaire, Ohio died Wednesday March 26, 2008 at his home. He was born July 27, 1940 in Delbarton, West Virginia a son of the late Raymond and Thelma Hunter Calhoun. John was a retired Lieutenant with thirty­four years of service with the Bellaire Police Department. He was a Southern Baptist by faith and was an eight year veteran of the US Marine Corp. John was also a member of the Marine Corps League and the Bellaire Junior Sports Foundation and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Upper Ohio Valley. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, James Hall. Surviving are his wife, Linda K. Trella Calhoun, three children, Theresa "Terri" Bradshaw of Bellaire, Ohio, Jeannine "Jeanne" (Christian) Zearfoss of Salem, Virginia and John G. Calhoun, Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio, one sister, Joyce Walters of Tucson, Arizona and one brother, Lawrence Hall. Also four grandchildren, Derek Bradshaw, Katherine Bradshaw, Alexander Bradshaw and Daniel Zearfoss.
